How to use the babysitter and pet sitter info sheet
- Choose whether the sheet is for a babysitter, a pet sitter or both, and set the title.
- Fill in the fields you want printed: who you are, where you will be, emergency contacts, the doctor or vet, health notes, and the children or pets.
- Leave any field empty to print a ruled blank line the sitter or you can write on.
- Check the preview, then download the PDF or print and stick it on the fridge.
What goes on the sheet
The sheet starts with who you are, how to reach you and when you will be back, then emergency contacts, a doctor or vet, and allergies and medicine. A babysitter sheet adds the children's names and ages, bedtime and routine, meals and snacks and house rules. A pet sitter sheet adds the pets' names, food and water, walks and bathroom breaks, medicine, and behavior notes. A last section is left for anything else.
Each entry wraps to fit and a long entry makes its line taller. The sheet runs to one or two pages. Entries you leave empty become ruled lines, so you can print a blank sheet and fill it in with a pen on the way out the door.
Be careful what you write
A sheet on the fridge can be seen by anyone who comes into the house. Do not write door codes, alarm codes, passwords or financial details on it. Give those to a sitter you trust in another way. The printout says to call 911 first in an emergency, which is the emergency number in the United States, and leaves you to fill in the other numbers yourself.
The tool does not give medical, legal or safety advice. It prints what you type. Ask your doctor or vet what to write for medicine and health notes. For other household routines, see the chore chart generator, the meal planner printable and the annual pet cost calculator.
Privacy
What you type is used only to draw the sheet in your browser. It is not uploaded. You can choose to remember your entries on this device, and you can remove them at any time.

Frequently asked questions
What should be on a babysitter information sheet?
Common items are how to reach the parents, emergency contacts, allergies and medicine, bedtime and routine, meals and house rules. The fields in this tool cover those, and you can leave any you do not need.
Can I make one sheet for a pet sitter?
Yes. Choose Pet sitter and fill in the pets' names, food, walks, medicine and behavior notes.
What happens to fields I leave empty?
They print as ruled blank lines, so you can fill them in by hand.
Should I put the door code on the sheet?
It is safer not to. A sheet on a fridge is visible to visitors, so share codes with the sitter in person or another private way.
