What SumPanda is
SumPanda is a collection of free online calculators for work hours, pay, dates, percentages, pricing and daily decisions. Each tool opens ready to use, shows the formula behind the answer and explains where its rules stop.
The name joins two ideas. Sum stands for clear arithmetic and precision. The panda stands for a calm, friendly guide. The plus sign on the panda's nose is the small reminder that every answer here comes from adding things up.
Who publishes it
SumPanda is published by Jodbrain Studio. The site is operated as a small independent project. There is no sign-up, no sales team and no paid placement of any kind in the calculators.
How it works
- Calculations run in your browser. What you type into a calculator is not sent to a server. See the privacy policy for the details.
- Formulas are shown, not hidden. Every result lists the steps with your numbers. The methodology page explains rounding, date rules and what is tested.
- Rules are labeled. Where the law is involved, for example overtime, the page says it uses federal rules and does not apply state law.
What SumPanda will not do
- Give tax, legal, payroll or financial advice. See the disclaimer.
- Guess values it cannot know, such as your local sales tax rate or your employer's policies.
- Publish a calculator before its formulas and edge cases are tested.
- Show invented reviews, ratings or testimonials.
