What this policy covers
This policy describes how sumpanda.com ("SumPanda"), published by Jodbrain Studio, handles information when you visit the site. It describes what the site actually does today.
What you enter into calculators
All calculations run in your browser using code the page has already downloaded. The values you enter, such as hours, pay rates, dates of birth or prices, are not sent to SumPanda or to any third party. They are not used for analytics. There are no accounts and no forms that submit data to a server.
Two features create something you control:
- Copy link. The link it creates contains the values you entered, so anyone you give the link to can see them. Names and dates of birth are left out of links.
- Save in this browser (on the time card and timesheet calculators). If you click it, your entries are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never sent to SumPanda. You can delete them with the "Delete saved entries" button or by clearing site data in your browser.
Analytics
SumPanda can use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which tools are used. Nothing from Google loads until you choose "Allow analytics" in the notice at the bottom of the page. If you choose "No thanks," no analytics script runs.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser and receive your IP address and device information, as described in Google's data safeguarding page. SumPanda sends only these events, each with the calculator's name or a count: calculator started, calculation completed, result copied, PDF downloaded, CSV downloaded, a search count and which related tool was clicked. We never send calculator inputs or results, search text or share-link values. The page address is sent without any query string. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off.
You can change your mind at any time with the "Privacy choices" button in the footer.
Information stored in your browser
- Your analytics choice (allowed or declined), so we do not ask again each visit.
- Saved entries, only if you click "Save in this browser."
- Google Analytics cookies, only if you allow analytics.
Server logs
The site is served by a hosting provider, Hostinger. Like most web servers it records standard technical logs such as IP address, time, page requested and browser type, used for security and operations. SumPanda does not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
Advertising
SumPanda does not currently show ads. If that changes, this policy will be updated before ads appear, including the vendors involved and how to manage ad personalization and consent.
Email you send us
If you email us, we use your message and address only to respond and to improve the site. We do not sell or share them.
Children
SumPanda is a general-audience calculator site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Because SumPanda does not collect personal information beyond the optional analytics above, there is usually nothing for us to access or delete. You can decline analytics, delete saved entries, block cookies in your browser or use a privacy extension. We do not sell personal information. If you believe privacy law gives you a right we have not described, email us and we will respond.
Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the date at the top. Material changes, such as adding advertising, will be made before they take effect.
