How to use the reward chart printable

      1. Type a title and the child's name, then list the tasks, one per line, up to 10.
      2. Choose seven days or Monday to Friday and the number of weeks to print.
      3. Set the stars to earn the reward and write the reward. A row of numbered circles is added at the bottom. Use 0 to leave it off.
      4. Print the chart. Add a sticker or color a circle whenever a task is done, and fill the star row as the week's stars are counted.

      Five tasks over seven days

Five tasks across seven days make a grid of 35 circles on each weekly page. The default reward asks for 20 stars, shown as 20 numbered circles in two rows of ten.

If you print one week, the 20 star goal fits within the 35 circles on the page. If you set a goal of 50 with one week of five tasks over five days (25 circles), the notes under the preview warn that the goal is larger than the circles on the page.

A sticker chart with a goal

Each task is a row and each day is a column, and every square holds an empty circle for a sticker or a colored star. Under the table is a line for the week's total, and an optional reward box with a row of numbered circles to fill as stars are earned toward the goal you set.

This differs from a chore chart that rotates jobs among family members. The reward chart is for one child, is built around circles to fill, and has a goal and a reward as part of the page.

      Choosing tasks and a goal

Pick a few tasks that fit the child's age and say clearly what counts as done. The star goal should be reachable in the time you plan: the tool compares the goal with the number of circles on the printed pages and warns you when it cannot be reached. The page does not claim that reward charts change behavior and does not offer advice on parenting.

For jobs shared among a family, the chore chart generator rotates chores weekly. To track habits across a month, use the habit tracker. Everything is made in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded or stored on a server.

Up to 10 tasks fit on a page. Each one gets a row with a circle for every day you choose.

It is a goal tracker. Fill one circle for each star earned until you reach the number you set, then give the reward written in the box.

      Can I print several weeks?

Yes. Choose up to 8 weeks and each week gets its own page with the same tasks.

Can I leave out the reward row?

Yes. Set the stars to earn to 0 and the page shows only the task grid and the weekly star count.
